Leo is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action crime thriller film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who co-wrote it with Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy. It is produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio while Jagadish Palanisamy serves as co-producer. The film stars Vijay as the titular character, and Trisha, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan and Mysskin. The movie is set to release on October 19, 2023, and is rumored to be a remake of David Cronernberg’s A History of Violence (2005). The story revolves around a mild-mannered man who becomes a local hero through an act of violence, which sets off repercussions that will shake his family to its very core. The soundtracks and background music were composed by Anirudh Ravichander for the movie Leo, and the cinematography was shot by Manoj Paramahamsa
