"Pokkiri" is a 2007 Tamil-language action film directed by Prabhu Deva and starring Vijay, Asin, and Prakash Raj. The film follows Tamizh, a hitman who is willing to do anything for money, including killing. His violent nature attracts the attention of two rival gangs, and he joins one of them to help them eliminate their rivals. Meanwhile, he tries to save his girlfriend, who disapproves of his violent behavior, from a corrupt cop who wants to marry her against her will. The film features a mix of action, comedy, and romance, and was well-received by audiences and critics alike.
